SSC GD final keys and marks: save records and review your answers

By ExamShortcut · Published 4 Nov 2026 · Checked 4 Nov 2026

SSC’s 3 November notice releases GD 2026 final keys, question papers with responses and CBE marks. Access ends on 17 November at 17:00. This original guide helps you organise the documents and turn answer review into useful revision.

1. Save two separate records before the deadline

Start with the official release update and the SSC notice. The final-key link uses Roll Number and Password, while SSC’s marks route uses Registered ID and Password. Save your own question-paper/response document and scorecard, check the exam year and candidate details, and retain the downloaded files.

The published window runs from 3 November at 17:00 to 17 November at 17:00. A deadline on a date does not mean access lasts until midnight. If the service is temporarily unavailable, return through the official notice and allow time before the closing hour. Keep private documents in your own storage rather than posting them publicly.

2. Match question IDs before judging an answer

Make a short table in your own notes: question ID, response recorded, final-key answer, topic and what you misunderstood. Option letters or positions can be misleading if two copies display options differently. Match the actual question and answer text before concluding that a key differs.

Separate a concept error from a reading error, a calculation error and an unsupported guess. For a concept error, explain the rule and solve a new example. For a rushed reading error, record the word or condition you missed. Keep the review small enough that you can retry it without looking at the solution.

3. Keep raw review, official marks and selection status distinct

Use the applicable marking rules if reconstructing a raw score. Do not add an assumed bonus or normalisation adjustment to force agreement with another candidate’s marks. Normalised marks and the official result are the authority for the stated selection stage. A difference between your arithmetic and the scorecard calls for checking the inputs and official instructions.

The 3 November final-key notice does not announce a new tentative-key objection period. The earlier 12 October CBT-to-PET/PST shortlist and 23 October category clarification have their own conditions. A final answer key is also not the final appointment list.

4. Turn the review into a short revision cycle

Choose three recurring errors and retry them after a gap. Add one fresh problem for each repaired concept so you test understanding rather than memory. Keep arithmetic methods in the percentage lesson and evidence-based reading in the reading guide close at hand when those are your weak areas.

For candidates progressing to physical stages, use the authorised notice and individual call letter for dates, standards, documents and reporting conditions. Saving a scorecard does not complete those separate requirements. The GD shortlist guide explains how to organise the relevant documents.

Try it before opening the answer

Original learning checks, not recalled exam questions or a prediction of your score.

1. The notice closes access on 17 November at 17:00. Is 21:00 that evening still inside the window?

No. It is four hours after the stated closing time.

Read both date and time; do not assume that a dated deadline means midnight.

2. Your saved copy labels an answer B, while another copy labels the same answer C. What should you compare first?

The question ID and the actual answer text.

Option positions can differ between displayed copies. Match the underlying item before diagnosing an answer-key difference.

3. A final answer key is published. Does that establish final appointment?

No. Read the applicable result and remaining-stage notices.

Answer review, score reporting, shortlisting and final selection are distinct official steps.

4. You can repeat a memorised solution but fail a fresh version of the same concept. What should change in the review?

Explain the deciding rule and solve a new example without the solution.

Retrieving a remembered answer does not by itself show that the method transfers to a different problem.
