SSC CGL cutoffs, year by year

These are official cutoffs (as reproduced from SSC result notices by the sources listed on each entry — decimals may differ by ±0.2 between reproductions; the SSC PDF is always canonical). Cutoffs are declared per post-list, so a single exam has many cutoffs — the rows below are for the largest, most-quoted list plus the premier posts. Tier 1 is only a screening stage for most posts: its score is not carried into final merit, which comes from Tier 2 Paper 1 (out of 390). Minimum qualifying marks in Tier 1: 30% (UR), 25% (OBC/EWS), 20% (SC/ST/others) — cutoffs are always much higher than these floors. Cutoffs move year to year with vacancies, shift difficulty (then normalised) and the number of serious candidates — treat them as a target band, not a promise.
