Why can an SC, ST, OBC, EWS or ESM candidate show UR?
SSC says some candidates from these categories qualified the computer-based examination on unreserved standards under the examination notice. The earlier shortlist therefore reflected UR for their shortlisting. The clarification explains this treatment; it does not ask those candidates to change their original application category.
Which lists should candidates consult?
The Commission says the detailed lists now show both the category applied under and the category against which a candidate was considered. List I covers shortlisted female candidates and List II covers shortlisted male candidates other than SSF. All other terms and conditions of the 12 October CBT result remain unchanged. Read the original result and the clarification together, then follow CRPF’s physical-test instructions.
Later release: final keys and CBE marks
SSC’s 3 November notice makes final answer keys, question papers with responses and CBE marks available from 3 November at 17:00 until 17 November at 17:00. Save the response document and scorecard through the matching official routes. This does not replace the earlier shortlist/category instructions or announce final appointment.
