IBPS Clerk cutoffs
IBPS Clerk cutoffs are state-wise and category-wise — there is no all-India cutoff — and are reproduced here from IBPS result notices via the sources listed on each entry; decimals may differ slightly between reproductions, and the IBPS PDF on ibps.in is always canonical. Two scales matter: Prelims out of 100 (qualifying — sectional minimums plus a state-wise shortlist; score discarded afterwards) and Mains out of 200, reported on a normalised scale out of 100 — and since there is no interview, the mains cutoff is the final selection cutoff for the merit list. Do not be surprised when a reserved-category cutoff sits above the general one (for example Madhya Pradesh prelims 2024: SC 74.5 against UR 73) — category-wise vacancy counts differ hugely by state and some categories shortlist against very few seats. Cut-offs swing between states (recent prelims: mid-40s in Gujarat and Maharashtra, mid-80s in Chandigarh and Uttarakhand), so always benchmark against your state's last two cycles, not the national range. The mains pattern changed recently, so mains cutoffs before and after the change are only loosely comparable.
