What SSC has announced
The schedule gives a date window for the computer-based Tier 1 examination. It does not assign every applicant the same date or announce that admission certificates are already downloadable. Check the candidate-specific date, shift, reporting time and centre when SSC publishes that information.
How to use the preparation gap
Application and correction windows have closed. Use the remaining weeks for timed sectional practice, complete mocks and daily typing practice. Separate the 2026 examination from the CHSL 2025 final result published in October: the older result does not change your 2026 application status.
What to do next
- Save the SSC schedule and note the full Tier 1 window.
- Check SSC’s candidate account and noticeboard for your individual city/date information and admission certificate.
- Confirm your own reporting time and any later schedule revision before arranging travel.
