Use the revised RRB, railway and community rows
The 4 November corrigendum explains that additional demands from zonal railways led to a review for JE/P. Way and JE/S&T/Signal. Read the exact RRB, railway and community row that applies to your application. The P. Way rows printed in this corrigendum total 660, and the Signal rows total 148; these are the rows shown in the revised tables, not the overall recruitment total or an amount to add to it.
The overall recruitment total is now 4,487
The notice explicitly increases the total for all RRBs from 4,029 to 4,487. It says the notified vacancies of other RRBs remain unchanged and all other terms and conditions of CEN 04/2026 remain unchanged. A vacancy enhancement does not itself reopen the closed application window or declare a response-sheet, answer-key or result release.
Keep the vacancy correction with the earlier exam notices
The earlier general CBT 1 dates and the local rescheduling to 2 November for concerned candidates remain separate notices. Save the new corrigendum with the original CEN and the previous amendments. Use future official announcements for answer-key access, results and CBT 2 instructions.
What to do next
- Read Corrigendum No. 2 and locate your RRB/railway/community row.
- Keep 4,487 as the revised overall CEN total, subject to any later official amendment.
- Retain the original CEN and amendments; check the matching CEN for subsequent key, result and CBT 2 instructions.
