Mirror image of word / number

How to solve: Order reversed + each character flipped left-right. Check the first character (= last of the word) and one asymmetric letter.

The last character, 5, flipped left-right.
Water image of word / number
commonSame, but the mirror is below (water or line MN below).
How to solve: Order kept; each character upside down. B C D E H I K O X and 0, 3, 8 look unchanged.

Mirror image of a figure

How to solve: Track one corner feature: left ↔ right, height unchanged. Reject upside-down options.

Bottom-right.

Clock mirror time
very commonTime seen in a mirror, or actual time from a mirror reading.
How to solve: 11:60 − time, both ways. 12:xx uses 23:60. Check: sum = 12:00.
Example: A clock shows 7:05. What does the mirror show?
11:60 − 7:05 = 4:55.
Mirrored clock face or elapsed time
occasionalA drawn mirrored clock, or the actual time some minutes after a mirror reading.
How to solve: Read the image time, convert with 11:60 − time, then add or subtract elapsed time.
Example: A mirror shows 9:10. What is the actual time 30 minutes later?
Actual 2:50; plus 30 minutes = 3:20.
