Net marks = correct × marks per question − wrong × penalty. This is your raw score, before any normalisation.

Your category:

Minimum qualifying marks for UR: 30% = 30 of 100. Your raw score is 30 short of this line.

Minimum qualifying marks: 30% for UR, 25% for OBC and EWS, 20% for other categories.

Compare with a past cut-off:

Cut-off 119.48 out of 200 (about 59.74 on this paper's 100) · your net 0 · -59.74 vs cut-off

List used: Paper 1 → PET/PST shortlisting — Male (exam held 9–12 Dec 2025; result declared 30 Mar 2026). Past cut-offs are on normalised marks and move with paper difficulty, so use this as a rough gauge, not a result. The cut-off was scaled by percentage because the paper total changed. Full tables are on the cutoffs page.

Paper 1 only shortlists you for the physical tests. Its marks do not count in the final merit. Earlier years had 200 marks, so old cut-offs are scaled to this paper by percentage.

SSC CPO score calculator: FAQs

What is the SSC CPO marking scheme?

Paper 1: 100 questions, 100 marks, +1 and 0.25 off, 15 minutes per section. Paper 2: 160 questions, 320 marks, +2 and 0.5 off.

Is this my final score?

No. It is your raw score. The exam runs in several shifts, so the board normalises marks across shifts, and your final score can move up or down a little. The normalisation calculator on this site gives an estimate.

How should I read the cut-off comparison?

Past cut-offs are a rough guide. They move every year with the difficulty of the paper and the number of vacancies, so being above one is encouraging but never a guarantee.

Is anything here unconfirmed?

The 2026 pattern is new (Paper 1 was 200 questions till 2025). Check the official notice before relying on any number here.
