About these figures
No.), so there is no single national cutoff. Two different scales are used. CBT 1 cutoffs are normalised marks out of 100 and only shortlist you for CBT 2, subject to the category minimums (UR/EWS 40%, OBC-NCL and SC 30%, ST 25%). Cutoffs after CBT 2 are the Merit Index on a 350 to 900 scale (350 at the general-category qualifying mark of 40, 900 at the mean of the top 0.1% of candidates), because candidates of different engineering branches compete on one common list. The rows below are exact figures from the official result-and-cutoff PDFs of RRB Chandigarh (shown as a representative board); your zone's cutoffs come from its own RRB website. Cat. No. refers to the post-category numbering of each CEN (mapping given per row).
Cutoff rows are compiled from official result notices and reputable reproductions — see the notes for what each row means. Always confirm on the official website.
