Where the 2026 cycle stands
Mains was held on 4 October 2026; prelims ran 22–23 August 2026 and results came on 29 September 2026. Applications closed in July (1–21 July, later extended). From here the cycle moves to the Main result (November 2026), then the Personality Test and Common Interview (November–December 2026) and Provisional Allotment (January 2027). If you appeared, shift to interview prep now — current affairs, banking awareness and your graduation-story pitch — while the Main result is awaited.

Admit card
Where: The CRP PO/MT section on ibps.in.
When: Call letter is released about one to two weeks before the exam (for the 2026 prelims it was released on 14 August for exams on 22 and 23 August).
- 1Open ibps.in, go to the CRP PO/MT section and choose the call letter link for the stage.
- 2Sign in with your registration or roll number and your date of birth or password.
- 3Download the call letter and print it. IBPS does not post a hard copy.
- 4Check the date, shift, reporting time and venue, and keep an ID proof ready.
What to carry
- A printed call letter
- The original photo ID named in the call letter
- A passport size photograph and other items only if the call letter asks for them
Keep the call letter and ID proof together in one folder from the day it is released.
Answer key
IBPS has not released answer keys or question papers for the PO prelims or mains in recent cycles, and there is no objection window. Your first official feedback is the result and the scorecard.
Coaching institutes publish unofficial keys right after each shift. Treat their scores as an estimate, because weighted marking and sectional cutoffs also apply.
Result and scorecard
IBPS declares each stage on ibps.in. You sign in and see your result, and the scorecard follows within days, available for a limited time.

| Interview and provisional allotment | Final score is 80 percent mains plus 20 percent interview, followed by allotment to participating banks. |
