List used: Prelims — shortlist for Mains (CRP PO/MT-XVI, held 22–23 Aug 2026; result 29 Sep 2026). Past cut-offs are on normalised marks and move with paper difficulty, so use this as a rough gauge, not a result. Full tables are on the cutoffs page.

Prelims is qualifying. Quant (35 questions for 30 marks) and Reasoning (35 questions for 40 marks) carry different marks per question, so the totals here come out as 30 and 40. Sectional cut-offs also apply.

IBPS PO score calculator: FAQs

What is the IBPS PO marking scheme?

Prelims: 100 marks in 3 sections of 20 minutes each. Mains: 200 marks objective plus 25 marks descriptive. A wrong answer costs one quarter of that question's marks.

Is this my final score?

It is your raw score. Check the exam notice for sectional cut-offs and how the final merit is built from each stage.

How should I read the cut-off comparison?

Past cut-offs are a rough guide. They move every year with the difficulty of the paper and the number of vacancies, so being above one is encouraging but never a guarantee.

Is anything here unconfirmed?

IBPS announces the sectional cut-offs only in the result notice. Check it, and the exam notice, for the current year.
