CAT score calculator
Enter your counts for each section and get your raw score, accuracy and attempts. CAT gives +3 for a correct answer and −1 for a wrong MCQ. TITA (type-in-the-answer) questions have no negative marking. Each section is 40 minutes. The question counts below are the CAT 2025 paper (VARC 24, DILR 22, QA 22); the IIMs do not announce counts in advance.
VARC · 24 Q · 40 min0/24 attempted
Section score 0 / 72
DILR · 22 Q · 40 min0/22 attempted
Section score 0 / 66
QA · 22 Q · 40 min0/22 attempted

This is a raw score, not a percentile
CAT percentiles are computed from scaled scores. The IIMs equate the three slots for difficulty, and the result changes with the slot, the paper and the year. We therefore do not convert raw marks into a percentile; any such mapping would be invented. For real numbers, see the CAT cut-offs page (institute qualifying percentiles and typical shortlist bands), and read how normalisation works.
